In our project area there is a number of orphans, semi orphan and street children. The problem of orphans and street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization , the deaths of HIV/AIDS parents, the remarriage of deserted / widowed / divorced women who don’t want there children anymore, absence of love and security in the families, family disputes, and unwanted pregnancies caused due to trafficking and sexual exploitation of girls. These factors contribute to children being left without care and support. These destitute became involved in rag packing; pick pocketing and participating in anti-social, criminal activities. Therefore, we envisage main streaming these children by providing them care, support and protection in our Orphan Children Home.

Our promise to the world is summarized in a 6 fold promise:

We want to be very clear that 100% of all funds raised in sponsorship for our children is used for our children. There are no admin fees, salaries or hidden costs involved. The pie chart below outlines roughly where the funds will be used, but honestly it changes from child to child; if you have any questions about this please do not hesitate to contact us.

The Agape Community Orphanage Center is an independent, non-governmental, social development organization that has been providing support to those in need since 2012. ‘The Mission’ works in an array of areas, support to lepers, vocational training, education, disaster relief etc. but it’s primary focus is the care and protection of children in need.

The Agape Community Orphanage Center works hard to provide a loving home and family for every child in its care working hard to promote family relationships and impart a spirit of responsibility in every member of the organization.
